Character and Narrative Psychology
Storytelling is older than language itself. It is how humans create meaning, build connection, and understand the world around us. But while most brands focus on what they want to say, the most powerful experiences begin with understanding who people want to become inside the experience.
My journey into this work began as a Disney Princess, where I discovered firsthand the psychology of character, emotion, and unforgettable moments. I went on to build a nationwide character experience company, creating immersive experiences for families and brands, before expanding globally to teach business owners how to use storytelling and character psychology to deepen customer connection and grow their businesses.
Today, I design turnkey, character-driven narrative ecosystems for brands, destinations, and organizations that want to move beyond transactions. I combine storytelling, behavioral psychology, and experiential design to create repeatable systems that transform ordinary interactions into meaningful journeys, turning audiences from passive observers into active participants.
Regenerative Tourism
L’Âme de Paris transforms passive sightseeing into an act of regenerative tourism by fostering a profound sense of respect and custodianship for the city and its people. This multi-path journey connects the participant’s personal identity to the history and energy of the Parisian landscape.
Designed as a fully-accessible, turn-key experience, L’Âme de Paris serves as a high-value narrative asset for airports, airlines, hotels, resorts, and tourism boards looking to solve the challenge of tourist fatigue. Whether utilized as a pre-arrival priming mechanism to build emotional readiness or as an on-the-ground value add, the framework enhances visitor engagement and encourages deeper, higher-quality interactions.
Environmental Behavioral Intervention
Plastigon™ was developed to address a critical gap in environmental advocacy: the disconnect between scientific awareness of plastic pollution and actual behavioral reform. While organizations excel at documenting the scale of contamination, they often struggle to overcome the psychological barrier where abstract, systemic harms are cognitively deprioritized by the public. By using narrative personification to transform abstract plastic waste into a relatable, symbolic entity, I created a behavioral infrastructure tool that moves the conversation from logistical statistics to personal responsibility, reframing plastic not as an external villain, but as an unintegrated byproduct of collective behavior.
This framework makes it easier for audiences to internalize the consequences of plastic consumption. By integrating this symbolic layer into existing educational or policy campaigns, I provide organizations with a scalable, non-adversarial asset that helps integrate scientific findings into the cultural consciousness.
Retail Ecosystem Transformation
To turn around Valley Fair Mall’s bankruptcy crisis, I developed a series of immersive, theme-driven experiences designed to reverse a sharp decline in vendor occupancy and revitalize tenant engagement. I moved away from traditional leasing pitches and introduced monthly children's events and interactive scavenger hunts to encourage store participation, along with targeted social media challenges.
This infrastructure fundamentally changed the mall’s local identity, turning passive transit spaces into active, community-driven narrative hubs. The results validated this approach by fostering immediate behavioral shifts among visitors, driving a 130% increase in foot traffic within just 60 days.
Strategic Cultural Heritage
The Elemental Return was developed as a 15-minute immersive narrative journey for the 150th anniversary of Constantin Brâncuși, designed to transform his individual monuments into a connected spiritual path. By replacing the passive observation of heritage sites with an active, four-chapter narrative experience narrated by the materials of the artist’s own life, I developed a framework to deepen the connection between the audience and the artist's legacy.
This framework functions as a digital companion that can be deployed via global web-based interfaces or through on-site NFC and QR triggers, ensuring that the artistry is expanded for both remote and in-person visitors. The project tracks metrics like dwell time and sentiment alignment, providing cultural institutions with measurable engagement data while ensuring the narrative remains secure and inclusive for a diverse global audience through integrated accessibility features.
Brand Expansion & Narrative Loyalty
To elevate Brigit’s Bakery into a globally iconic, multi-channel lifestyle brand, I developed a narrative architecture that reimagines the "Brigit" character as a fluid, inclusive archetype, a stylish, universal voyager whose hand-drawn, minimalist form invites people of all backgrounds to "become" the brand. By centering the experience on the "rose-colored lens" philosophy, reclaimed as a symbol of radical, intentional agency rather than naive optimism, this framework transforms everyday consumers into active brand advocates who view the world through an empowered filter.
I apply this strategic framework to brands by leveraging a "Pre-Arrival Engagement Layer," a digital system that primes guests and builds brand identity long before they reach a physical location. This automated infrastructure not only fosters deep narrative immersion, incentivizing testimonial submissions through gamified post-experience follow-ups, but also secures the brand’s intellectual property by providing a plug-and-play engine that drives organic social proof.
Brand Differentiation & Lead Conversion Strategy
The Voyage of the Gods was developed for Artemis Maritime, a premier Greek yacht chartering company, to solve the specific challenge of brand differentiation in a crowded market where traditional maritime providers rely on outdated processes to nurture cold leads. By replacing transactional sales outreach with an immersive narrative architecture deeply rooted in Greek mythology and culture, I transform their digital presence, turning passive visitors into active participants and effectively bypassing the friction of cold acquisition.
This infrastructure not only acts as a persistent brand-awareness asset but also functions as a powerful market research tool, allowing organizations to identify evolving consumer needs without ever needing to collect sensitive personal information.
